Education once again dominated the discussion between Governor Gary Herbert and Democratic opponent Peter Cooke as they squared off in their last gubernatorial debate before the November 6th election.
A high school education is not enough. That was the message being echoed at the Governor’s Education Summit Today (Monday) at Salt Lake Community College.

Salt Lake County Mayoral Candidate Ben McAdams announced his plan for economic development Tuesday morning to a crowd at South Salt Lake’s CHG Healthcare Services facility. The Democrat says he wants to cut down on red tape for those trying to start a business to help spur job growth and build the economy. His opponent, Republican Mark Crockett, says cutting down on regulation is a good idea, but says it takes more than just limiting government to help business.
