KUED DEBATES Provide an important component that sets
them apart-- along with moderator questions to candidates,
our debates feature questions from audience members.
Our audience
is made up of a broad range of voters including university students, members or employees of
VoteUtah partner organizations, and those applied to be in the audience. In this way, a broad range of issues is addressed.
Our producers, at their sole discretion, make the final determination
of audience make-up, but must follow this guideline: that
the audience as closely as possible represent the entire group
of voters in the election.
Audience members in a Congressional debate come from that Congressional district. And, to make the audience is a group of "average citizens" whose only agenda
is to find out what the candidates think, no one who works
for or is referred by any campaign or party, or who is a major
contributor to a campaign or party, can participate.

- Your name,
- Address,
- Phone number,
- Congressional district,
- Which debate you are interested in, and
- a statement certifying
lack of close involvement (as opposed to just being a member
or a minor contributor) with a campaign or party.
Please send
only one e-mail for all debates you're interested in. Those
not selected should not count on receiving any response, but
we will try to let you know either way.
