Before submitting your comments to a candidate,
please remember these rules:
1. No campaigning.
This forum is for commenting on the political situation in
general, and not for supporting a specific candidate or party,
or passage of a ballot initiative.
Please submit only general comments. Any submission that calls
for or infers such specific support for a candidate, party
or initiative may be omitted from the website and not broadcast.
It is unlikely that any submission that
uses any names of candidates, parties, groups or companies
will be selected for posting or airing.
2. No offensive
language.
Submissions that advocate violence or discrimination against
any group or member of a group based on race, religion, gender,
or other groups protected by law or government policy, or
which contain offensive or obscene language, will not be posted
or aired.
3. Keep
it concise and clear.
Only one issue should be covered in each question. Politicans
often dismantle questions and answer only the part they want
to, so direct questions asking a candidate to take a position
and defend it are best. Submissions may be edited for length
and clarity.
4. All submissions
welcome, but selection is by the moderators.
The decisions of VoteUtah and KUER-FM 90 personnel are final.
